Barbecue

Last Saturday, to celebrate the summer holidays start in my Japanese school, the school organized a barbecue in a river in Saitama.
Many people in the school is not about to and did not come to the food, but we were still over 100 people (in my class of 23 we only scored 5).

Both the mini trip to Saitama as the barbecue was super well organized, all in small groups of 6 students and 2 "tamago sensei" by the group. As rotten imagine, had a real army "tamago sensei" and many teachers. The "tamago sensei" are people who are studying to be teachers of Japanese in our own school, but teachers who are not yet officially.

The "tamago sensei" cooked for each of their groups, and teachers were in charge of watching all this right and provide the drinks.

At the river we were not half over 50 inches deep, so many people walk by the river to get your feet wet and get wet. For better or for worse, I am well known at school, so that all students and teachers know who I am, so when you try to walk about a bit by the river, everyone who knew me I throw myself to the grace of some water, so eventually end up wet underpants.

Windsurfing in Kamakura

Last Saturday I went windsurfing has to Kamakura . We were 15 people, which many already knew, and the others were friends of a Spanish friend of mine. It was a day of more international, since we were 3 Spanish, 1 Argentine, 3 Japanese, 4 Australian, 1 Canadian, 1 American, 1 Indian and 1 French.

Specifically, we went to a school called Windsurf 7 seas which I recommend. 7 seas is situated at the front line of coast and to the bus stop in front of the club, so it is very easy to get there.
The first day, there is an offer 50% discount for windsurfing, so we went to about 3700 yen (23 €) per person, which includes theoretical and practical classes with a teacher, costume rentals and neopreono table Windsurfing Windsurfing and practice from morning to afternoon relaxing to eat, although it appears that the court of digestion after eating is not said here in Japan, as we ate super fast and went off to practice again Windsurfing I do not think 40 minutes passed and we began to eat until we started practicing again.

From the beach we went, you could see Mount Fuji and more than 200 people doing windsurfing on the beach.
I liked the experience enough, and at the end of the day and managed to do some things to the table, but it is a sport that gets tired a lot, the next day I hurt all over but I've put a black man and hope to return another day.

The truth is that the wet suit, now that I've gained 10 kilos since I came to Japan I feel great, look like a sausage.
Then I put some pictures, and from here you can see the complete gallery.

I, with Antonio and his girlfriend Saya.

Ayumi vacation in Okinawa

Ayumi, taking advantage of next week will begin work in earnest in Tokyo after having finished college, has taken the last week off you have to take advantage and go with the family in Okinawa. Ayumi and family came to Okinawa yesterday and will be there until Sunday. It seems that Ayumi likes pretty island with good beaches for in less than half a year has gone to the beaches of Thailand , to those of Guam and now those of Okinawa .
Over a month ago asked me if I wanted to go with the family to Okinawa, but I had come here to Spain planned on those dates, so I could go to Okinawa.

Okinawa is a subtropical island of Japan, located in the Pacific Ocean. The average temperature in Okinawa is about 22 º C, so as you can imagine is an island with a pretty good temperature.

Waterfalls in Japan

The other day when we went to Shizuoka to the strawberry field , also took the opportunity to visit some of the sites that do not come in travel guides but they are very beautiful to see, in particular saw the waterfalls of "Otodome" and waterfalls " Shiraito "both located fairly close to the same Shizuone.

If you want to visit the waterfalls, you can check where they are located exactly on this map .

As always you can see all the photos here.

Strawberry field

Today we woke up early to go to Shizuoka prefecture to go to a strawberry field.
Here in Japan you can go to a strawberry field to pick your own strawberries from the ground to eat them right then. The field of strawberries us today we have had to pay 1500 yen (about 10 €) to be 30 minutes picking and eating strawberries many as you can, plus you get small pots of condensed milk for the untes with strawberries, because here in Japan tend to eat strawberries with condensed milk and no sugar.
The price is quite expensive, since in the same place you could buy 72 strawberries for the same price, but rather than go to save, to what is going to enjoy picking strawberries for yourself and eat them freshly picked.

The strawberry field was pretty well kept and had strawberries everywhere, so he could eat strawberries and choose many different sizes.
The truth is that after 20 minutes of eating strawberries with condensed milk and these super busy but I quite enjoyed this new experience.

Then I leave as usual some pictures and a video, but if you want to see all the photos you can always visit this section .

Osaka

Today I will put some pictures of when I was in Osaka, this past summer.
From my point of view, Osaka has excessive tourist sites to visit, it is more, I would say that one day you could see the most interesting of Osaka.
Among these places that I consider most important in Osaka include:

Osaka Castle: A castle quite large and very beautiful, surrounded by some very nice parks also. It's amazing how big the castle on the outside, and so well preserved it.

Museum inside the castle: A very interesting museum where we can see everything about the time the castle, costume samurai katanas, moving holograms that tell the story of the time and so on.

Tsutenkaku: A tower in the middle of Osaka. You can climb the tower to see the sights of Osaka.

Doutonbori: Name of the Osaka area where there are a lot of shops concentrated, it is interesting to go through them and see how many products they offer, especially memories.

As always I put here some pictures but the link you can see all the photos of Osaka to take .

PS: As noted in the pictures those weighed 6 kilos less than when taking these photos.

Update: Very interesting comment which has left David in the comments of this post to tell all the good things in Osaka. Worth a look. Click here .
