The "Hated" Kyoto Tower

No doubt the first thing you see when you get to Kyoto is its enormous tower 131 meters high. The Tower is located on a building back-story home to the Kyoto Tower hotel and shopping center.

Was devised in 1960 to commemorate the Olympic Games held in Japan in 1964. Its construction began in 1963 and building on the old post edifio city.
Unlike the Tokyo Tower, the interior structure of the Kyoto Tower is composed of many stacked rings. This structure is covered with sheets of mild steel of a thickness of between 12-22 mm and is designed to withstand earthquakes of large magnitudes. Its design is based on traditional Japanese candles.

The first year of opening, visited his viewpoint more than 1 million people, but the Kyoto Tower is losing an alarming visitors.
And much of the citizens of Kyoto hate this tower, since its inception has not been without controversy. Its cost was considered too high and too bold, modern design for the beautiful and traditional Kyoto.

Many regard the Tower as an "arrow in the heart of Kyoto" and not a symbol of modern Japan and industrial.

Visiting Kyoto

He had previously written about my seven-day trip Kobe , Kyoto and Osaka.
Kyoto was the city that I liked most of the three. In Kyoto we can find hundreds of temples and "chapels". We say to all churches, but in reality what the Japanese call the temples temples are Buddhist and the "churches" are those of Shinto .
As you can imagine can not see all the temples in a couple of days, so we decided to visit only the temples that journals considered most important.

This is the Golden Temple. The most famous temple in Kyoto and you can not miss if you visit Kyoto.

This is the Silver Temple. Now, I know the money is not anywhere. It turns out that the creator of this temple would have the same reputation that the Golden Temple and decided to make one of silver, but when put the money realized it had already spent all the money making the temple as to put silver.

This is the Kiyomizudera Temple, located in the mountains and surrounded by small temples.

Kiyomizudera.Dicen source in the drinking from this source is good luck. Depending on the jet that you drink will have good luck in health, in education or in love.
The water must catch it with very long sticks with a glass on the end and take it directly from the jet drops.

This is inside the church, specifically the Rock Garden. They say when you stand in front of the notes complete tranquility in the environment.

Toji Temple. In it you can see many sculptures of Buddhas and warriors, but do not let photos.
