Empanadas and fritters
Some other curious that we are in the matsuri Yonabaru to part of Okinawa Sumo were a couple of shops which were selling empanadas and churros.

He had understood that the churros in Japan usually instead of sugar to coat them echarles they placed touches of honey or caramel to cruassan!

I saw those churros here both as a movie theater in Shinjuku Disney Sea, but are infinitely more staid than the Spanish, and often carry cinnamon. They were not bad if you're willing to take half diabetes XD
