Yoshinoya

Surely, many of you have been to Japan once you've eaten at a Yoshinoya, restaurants specializing in fast food more than anything in bowl of rice with beef (gyudon), but also have other kinds of meat.
In this type of restaurant is usually eat at the bar and the service is extremely fast (like a Mcdonalds) and in turn is very cheap. A bowl of gyudon can go for about 400 yen (€ 2.5) but we must also bear in mind that like all fast food establishments, food is not exactly what is most healthy.

In Tokyo, only stopping to eat is usually an hour, and in many cases people want to take less than an hour to finish all the work that is pending, if we add to this that people often live far from their jobs we have a lot of "salary man" who want to eat in a restaurant as soon as possible, so at noon, you can see the Yoshinoya crowded with suits.

Many people I've known who has come to Tokyo on holiday, I have commented that have eaten nearly every day in places like fast food can be a Yoshinoya, Matsuya etc Tsutaya.
For very Yoshinoya fans or they do not feel like cooking, Yoshinoya supers also sold in a bag with the flavors of beef and restaurants where there is only to put the whole bag in a pan with boiling water and after five minutes we just have to take the bag and pour a bowl of rice.

  1. Perhaps because I was on vacation (and have more time) to the restaurants I found that I was one of superb quality.

Only ate at a fast food restaurant, where he served curry and quality of the food left much to be desired. The restaurant of which we speak has all the paint to go around, though, seems better than that curry.

  1. I was just once and was good at Yoshinoya, but if it is true that many places we went to some fast food franchise, others do not, among other things because there is lots and often have pictures : P

  1. Well, if ingrendiente is tenerna rice has to be quite healthy but not a McDonald? And by € 2.5, not 5 or 6 it costs here.

    Greetings!

  1. If I go in, try to make the best eating in restaurants of all kinds. But ultimately it is normal for eating in fast food restaurants, given that there is so little time to devote to food.

In Spain, after all, there are quite fast food, but very little variety. And certainly much poorer quality.

  1. I am more than Yoshinoya of Matsuya :) And out of curiosity, what comes out this bag at the supermarket?

A small clarification, Tsutaya is not a fast food restaurant, a chain of book sales, rental of DVDs, CDs, etc.. Greetings,

    Adrián

  1. Txema do not seem very healthy because they buy U.S. beef, and recently found in the vertebrae of cattle shipments, when the government prohibited the entry of Japanese beef to include these and other parts of the spine.

But what I choco the news that a month ago stating that the meat remains vertebrae where there was an order they had in the chillers since August 2007 and were preparing to send to stores cooking ...

If you tell kids nui, which leaves less expensive!

In any other Fastfood should be more of the same. Less Freshners and MOS : D So if you are not the hamburger and striped clown.

  1. More than healthy, it seems natural. Recognizes the meat, which is surely going to last more fat and calories, as always happens with meals prepared and more fast food. I do not think a dish to eat every day if you want to take care cholesterol.

  1. This entry yoshinoya in question seems a bit absurd. Is affecting you so much time in Japan because this kind of nonsense much like the Japanese count. Things that have no importance, only to fill the time for simple minds saturated with both work and stress. I think you will this happening, they are entering this vicious circle of ilusionarte by a Spanish memeces living in Spain will never understand. This comment I do not offend by while I am doing, but that is not my kitty me mola.
