Hanabi in Yokohama

Yesterday I was with some friends and Ayumi in the HANABI Yokohama.
For those who do not you may know, HANABI means fireworks, and it is a very typical in all cities of Tokyo throughout the summer. For the HANABI people often dressed in yukata and sit on the floor all to see the fireworks. At these events people tend to arrive well before they start fires to get a good place to sit and have a good view of all HANABI, so as can be expected over a couple of hours, many decide to bring food and drink and so do a kind of picnic before the fires.

Another curious thing happens when you watch the HANABI is that the site is where all the people to see them, the coverage of the mobile is lost almost completely in most cases.
In the HANABI yesterday, a few friends we met two and a half hours before the start of the event to take place (although it was very difficult) and no longer pidimos communicate with the rest of the gang that did not end until the HANABI because Coverage was lost from having so many people using mobiles board and so many people calling in the same area.

Finally, saying that the fireworks usually last a lot. In the case of yesterday in Yokohama, 70 minutes were throwing fireworks.

It hurts that I have no tripod for the camera and I had to do all the photos of the HANABI a pulse, so I tired quickly. You can see all the photos of that day here.

  1. You who are in the Valencian like me: How's loose fires? To me all that I have seen in Japan I found very weak and too long. They have no rhythm, just crawl.

Is this the case in Yokohama, too? I suppose you have a very good budget, maybe there are a good team of people and not just "many fires".

  1. Here is San Juan that throughout the week are throwing firecrackers and a thousand varieties of lights. Until the holiday with bonfires on the beach, beach bars, people bathing ... and so on until the following morning ...

Things are different but similar ...

    Greetings!

  1. Often crowds were there, and the photos do not think that hampered each other. After 70 minutes with no pain from acabáis head of both backfire?

    Greetings

  1. Dammit, because I get to it can bore 70 minutes of fireworks. Here it is nice to wait all year to get a "aiguafoc" (Mallorca), but as is so expensive, they will reduce a little each time. It is a waste. ¿There cheaper?

Are the boys never "dress" for the occasion? What sososo : P
