Yesterday I was with Ayumi and friends in Yokohama hanabi .
For those who do not know, hanabi means fireworks, and is a very typical in all the cities of Tokyo over the summer. At hanabi people often dressed in yukata and all sit on the floor to watch the fireworks. At these events people often arrive long before the fires start to get a good place to sit and have a good view of all hanabi, so like the wait may be longer than a couple of hours, many decide to bring food and drink etc and make a picnic before the fires.

Another curious thing happens when you go to see hanabi is that in the place where everyone stands to view the coverage of cell phones almost entirely lost most of the time.
In hanabi yesterday, some friends we met two hours before the event began to take place (although it was very difficult) Give us a hand and no longer communicate with the rest of his friends until they ran out because hanabi coverage have lost so many people using cell phones and so many people calling in the same area.

Finally, the fireworks that usually last a lot. In the case of yesterday in Yokohama, 70 minutes were launching fireworks.

Too bad I have no tripod for the camera and I had to do all the pictures of the hanabi freehand, so I get tired soon. You can see all photos from that day here .
