Ayumi Hamasaki has announced on her official fan site to be divorced from the Australian actor Manuel Schwarz.
The couple married on New Year last year (2011) in Las Vegas will seek a divorce after only a year of marriage.

Hamasaki has announced to fans that have already initiated the separation, explaining that he was unable to fulfill the promise he made Schwarz (who lives in Los Agenles) to live together in the U.S.. "From the Tohoku disaster I have the feeling that I will not part of Japan, "she wrote. "As a result, I've been more and more distant from the day."

"We talked about this and thought we could keep our relationship traveling to see us, but at this point, the physical distance becomes emotional distance," she explained. Hamsaki conduct the divorce proceedings by a lawyer in the U.S..
