What would you give to your business?
That's the question I've been doing these past few weeks.
There are people of many different minds, so that everyone has an opinion, and that's one thing to look much within companies. There are people who know your business hours are from 9.00am to 6.00pm and will do nothing but go home 6.00 and completely disconnected from work. There are other people who can not leave the company to finish everything I wanted to do that day or until you are sure that everything works perfectly and has done everything is checked, regardless of having to work overtime just to have satisfied himself everything is working properly.
I consider myself in the second example, and being so I realized that if you really do for fun and not to impress the bosses is how you really doing more between managers and leaders.
Last month for example only had 2 days off during the month, but it is showing me up that people trust me because I have had to call a few times on the weekend to go that day to work or have sent me to go help with server configurations to people much older than me, so I have the opportunity to catch a lot of experience mingling with people working in many different fields and have a lot more global vision of the project which I am stuck and not just in my area of this project are Cisco networks.
Of course, every holiday we work in us accumulate vacation days or many days running if we work late hours we aim to take them also on vacation but if you ever loose any time but do not ask for vacation do not care.
Do you think it's worth so involved in the company or is it better to make the hours you are? How many extra hours you would do for your company to do well?
