One of the things I think everyone is clear is that Tokyo is a city quite polluted, although Japan is not among the 10 most polluted countries in the world , but if it's one of the countries that emit more CO2 per the many factories that have.

The pollution is not something that looks right away when you're in Tokyo (not you step on a very tall building or in the mountains and see the environment a bit dark), but one thing I do not (and rather unpleasant) and suppose that also happen with other foreigners who go to Tokyo is that after spending a few weeks in Tokyo, note how many more began to have dry mucus in the nose when I was in Spain.

Another thing that seems to be happening to foreigners when they get a long time in Japan is that they grow nose hair longer to protect themselves from contamination.

Has anyone been to Japan a long time and noticed any of these symptoms?
