Partying in Roppongi
Yesterday I went partying with a friend of China (Lin) I met in England last year and Ayumi. We were partying in Roppongi, the quintessential neighborhood festivals in Tokyo.
In the main street of Roppongi are located the majority of pubs and nightclubs as well as the odd McDonalds for something to eat late at night. In every pub or club we met some guys up North American black two meters by two meters. This area is full of foreigners, especially North Americans, which in some pubs are hard to find Japanese.
Another thing that caught my attention is the business model of these places, some have to pay to enter and other entry is free, but nothing further from reality, once inside these facilities free admission every two three is an employee to tell you - hey, do not you want a drink? - Or - This place is free entry, but you have to drink more -.
In short, I had a great time, especially in a pub where people (girls) were dancing on the bar and occasionally rain fell from the ceiling in times of rush songs.
Update: In this post there are no pictures because they let you take pictures inside the premises, in fact in a room made me leave the battery from the camera to pick up and leaving.
When the drink order is a funny thing, they usually have in the local bar with a list price of drinks, such as "smirnoff ice" or "lime Bodka" 800 yen (about 5.5 €), but if you order something that is not on the menu is expensive, such as a "whiskey Redbull" 2000 yen (about 14 €)
