The last weekend what happens in Seoul (Korea) celebrating Chinese New Year.

At first I wanted to visit Hong Kong, Philippine Islands or Thailand, so with no idea of the Chinese New Year and taking advantage of last Thursday was a holiday in Japan on Friday I took off work to have four days to travel. On January 5, started looking for flights to the countries mentioned above and what was my surprise that at the time I wanted to go the cheap prices were extremely expensive. Then I found out it was for the Chinese New Year celebration and the whole of Asia was very expensive to travel.
Just when I thought it would not be able to travel anywhere at that time I found a very good offer in HIS but somewhat rare.
The strange thing about this offer is that despite being very cheap flight to Korea from Tokyo went out on Saturday at 5.00am and again from Monday 2.00am, arriving in Tokyo at 4.00am. As you can see the flights are at night, so you have two full days to see Seoul. The only bad thing is that the transportation to the airport, check in, flight and go to hotel or home not sleep those two nights no return.

Korea has never been on my list of countries I visit and I can not eat hardly anything spicy and there almost everything is red and spicy, but seeing that the price of the trip was 38000yenes with hotel and bus to the hotel included and that I could not go anywhere else so I decided to go to Korea.

In Seoul I had a great, gave me the feeling that I had time to visit many sites and also ate a lot, ate while in a couple of restaurants I asked if he was sure to order all that was asked, but is with how cheap everything is in Seoul and the desire to try everything I had I could not resist.

Some of the things that surprised me a little summary of Seoul are:

1 - This all BARGAINS compared to Tokyo.
2 - In fact most of the food is super spicy. You have to know how to ask well to choose something spicy.
3 - Meat from Seoul yakiniku has nothing to do with the restaurants of Tokyo. The meat of this buenisima Seoul.
4 - The Koreans speak English well or less than the Japanese. Just got to communicate in English at the airport.
5 - In the vast majority of the shops of Seoul is someone who speaks Japanese. This surprised me a lot. I attended the conbini in Japanese, yakiniku restaurant in between lanes and lost a lot of shops in the city center.
6 - The Seoul subway is super easy to use and everything is very well indicated. You have to be very "taciturn" not know how well the line changes.
7 - On the subway in Seoul the people talk to the phone without problems (in Japan are not well seen) and spend a lot of vendors inside the cars making speeches with a microphone and a speaker trying to sell everything.
8 - Did you succeed in Japan Westerners , so the Japanese will look handsome, but I never imagined that in two days in Seoul I would say many times that he was handsome.
9 - I had no idea that Seoul was so cold. There was snow everywhere and were literally frozen lakes!
10 - Many Korean are with shoes. In Tokyo is quite rare to see girls with anything but high heels.

In these two days gave me time to visit: Paldalmun , Haenggung Hwaseong and Suwon wall , the N Seoul Tower , Gyeongbokgung , the old quarter , Changdeokgung , Jongmyo and Myeongdong and I only spend 15,000 yen in Seoul with an all-inclusive binges, transport, sightseeing etc..

Will definitely return to Seoul to enjoy food and do some more to visit tourist spots not to visit, but next I want to dedicate more to the city and partying at Seoul, and this time I could not partying at not be 3 days without sleep. It cost me quite stay awake at work on Monday because the airport I went to hit me a shower and 9.00am and was in the office.
