I would say the same, to be foreign student syndrome (party every night). But it is true that being somewhere new tires for the amount of incentives out there. In our daily environment are used to avoid many things that actually do that are relevant or interesting, but when you go to a very different place as Japan's life is like putting a disc of baroque music at 45 rpm.
And of course, until you get used to eat and speak Japanese without the head at every word, simply tired of talking. But that is being learned!

This sleeping during the breaks I've seen it many times ... (Not to say that it happens in my own kind xD). Although I did not study Japanese as some of you, I have no exact idea of how difficult it is. But I can get an idea because I'm Chinese and I have more than 1 year studying it (can not imagine the thousand and one problems I have with these Chinese characters>.

Although what happens in my class is that many of them are exhausted because they study while working at a time. Go to school, after school go straight to work and returning home late and not enough rest. I sometimes put to "rest your eyes" because as I'm so irresponsible sometimes I end up sleeping at 2am and wake up at 8am, so I come to school tired xD.
