Izugatake
Last month I went with some friends to climb Mount Izugatake of 851 meters situated in Saitama Prefecture.
One Sunday, we met a group of eight friends very early and hopped on a train from Ikebukuro willing to climb the mountain about 75 minutes Chichibu Ikebukuro, but still not as Hector managed to convince us all in two minutes off at a station that no one knew anything about her called Syomaru, about 25 minutes by train before our destination.
In Japan, there are many fans grandparents walking down the mountain, and this season had a lot of driving directions and a lot of grandpas stopping at this station with pints of mountaineers so we thought well if it was a good place to start to walk.
As good climbers (or bad) first thing we did nothing but lose the station was stop at the ramen shop and eat ramen a curry in the early morning, later we started our journey.
From Syomaru there may be two routes to climb Mount Izugatake, a path or a path 3 hours 5 hours. We did the 5 hours, with stops and that cost us almost 7 hours until we reach the end of our route was Agano station.
En route there are a couple of roads that are steep and upload it costs a bit because you have to go about climbing but apart from that the tour is very well and also near the end of the trail is the temple of Nenogongen this quite well, and very glad the day you see a lost temple in the middle of nowhere after spending many hours walking.
