Preparing the Seijin Shiki

Yuri (Ayumi's sister) held the Seijin shiki (Coming of Age) next January. For this reason, last week we had to make the photos of family and celebrate with family.
In order to have a souvenir of Seijin Shiki, youth, tend to go to a photo studio before the actual day of Seijin Shiki. In this photo session, were a bunch of photos of Yuri with the kimono leading next January and a few family photos. In this family photo, it appears that only includes immediate family, as in this case we went, Ayumi, I, Yuri's parents and grandparents.

I had never been in a photo studio in Japan, but it was the truth is that it very enserio took until the last detail. To make the family photo was thrown about 20 minutes moving a few centimeters, taking into account the wrinkles of clothing, hair and so on.

Some people come to Japan with the idea of buying a kimono, but what we do not know is that the kimonos are really expensive. To get an idea. The rental of Yuri's kimono for the day's Seijin Shiki worth more than 330,000 yen excluding the price of the photo session.

After the photo shoot we went to eat all at a Japanese style restaurant where the waitresses were with kimono. The food was very Japanese style, on tatami room, all based on fish and never using the drink oneself, if not occasionally filling the glass of others.
