Snowboarding at Naeba
This year, for some other things and I could only go twice snowboad practice. The first time I went to Gunma , a site that I did not like anything because it seemed the snow is ice and narrow roads were full of cliffs. In addition, this site was by bus and it cost us almost 3 hours to arrive.
At another site I've gone is to Naeba , a site that I recommended a fellow of the company that will have all weekend to snowboard and a place I recommend.
I took a plan in which I entered for 12000 yen ticket for Shinkansen (bullet train) and the lift to the slopes, but depending on the month to go and you go on this plan can be found for 8000 yen.
The advantage of going on Shinkansen, is to be much more comfortable than by bus and arrive in just a hour and a half, so the price you pay for the transportation of more than worth it because you can snowboard almost a 3 hours rather than going by train. Another advantage it has is that Shinkansen usually leave every hour, so you can make your own travel plans, while travel by bus you have to choose the time they tell you because there is only one bus a day that goes there from Tokyo.
In Naeba Prince Hotel is located in the same quiet, so it is advisable to make a trip of several days and enjoy the Onsen is in the hotel, restaurants etc..
The track from what I have said this forever as the day I went, with much snow soft and well cared for, besides having a lot of tracks to choose and be extremely large.
Next to Naeba, other ski stations as Tashiro, Kagura Mitsumada and stations to which I have not gone but definitely go and see.
One thing I found curious is that in Japan, compared with Spain is much greater number of people doing that Snowboarders Ski. In Naeba if I remember correctly, 60% of people do snowboarding.
If you plan to go do Snowboard / Ski, you can book a trip on the web at the Prince Hotel or at any branch of JR.
