Last Sunday I went with Hector , Paul and Anthony to climb Mount Tsukuba.
At first the idea was to go quietly taking pictures as we ascended the mountain, but the road was not as we thought and cloudy weather did not help to take good photos, so we ended up taking a few photos.

Mount Tsukuba is in Tsukuba, a city of the province of Ibaraki.
The mountain is one of the most famous in Japan, particularly known for its double-peak form, having a peak with a height of 877 meters called Nyotai-san and other (which we got us) called Nantai-san, with a height of 871 meters.
Many people climb this mountain every year to enjoy the view you have the Kanto area on days with clear sky.

Most of the mountains in Japan are of volcanic origin (such as Mount Fuji ), but the Mount Tsukuba is made non-volcanic rocks such as granite and gabbro.

Mount Tsukuba has at its core a Shinto temple centenary, which is essential stop if you go up the mountain.

The city of Tsukuba can be reached very easily by taking from Akihabara taking Tsukuba express line, which is the last stop from Tsukuba in Tsukuba and you can catch a bus which takes you to the base of the mountain.

Then I put some of the images taken on Sunday, but you can see them all here .
