A more hanami

Like last year , the company I work for a hanami organized for all employees.

As many of you know, the hanami is to meet with friends, colleagues etc to celebrate the blossoming of the sakura (cherry blossom). As you meet together with friends in a park with cherry blossoms, is usually carried food and drink for a picnic while obseva the beauty of this flower.

This year, we celebrate hanami in a small temple near my company, which has a park with lots of sakura.
These events are very common between late March and early April, so the day we did the hanami were many other businesses around that did the hanami in the same place. Right next to us were the employees of TV Tokyo .

Hanami

Last Friday we met all of the company and friends to celebrate Hanami.
The hanami, as its name suggests (hana = flower, mi = look / see) is to meet to look at the flowers. Since Sakura blooms (the most famous flower of Japan) about late March to early April, the Japanese tend to gather in parks with sakura to spend time together looking at the flowers and drinking. The picture in these parks is usually a group of friends are a canvas lying on the ground where they feel everyone to talk and drink.

The COO of my company is well behaved with all workers, occasionally bringing us donuts to the office, leaving us out some time before some days and above all, doing events with everyone. Last Friday COO hanami organized the festival, which started at 16.00 (two hours before finishing the job), with plenty of food and drink he had ordered, so the hanami was most interesting, and 70 people who attended the party, and some just the party at noon the next day.
