Unlike the Tokyo Tower, the interior structure of the Kyoto Tower is composed of many stacked rings. This structure is covered with sheets of mild steel of a thickness of between 12-22 mm and is designed to withstand earthquakes of large magnitudes. Its design is based on traditional Japanese candles.

The first year of opening, visited his viewpoint more than 1 million people, but the Kyoto Tower is losing an alarming visitors.
And much of the citizens of Kyoto hate this tower, since its inception has not been without controversy. Its cost was considered too high and too bold, modern design for the beautiful and traditional Kyoto.
