Yesterday I was in a "family leave" (discounts for family members) of Burberry.
Ayumi has a friend who works at a Burberry store and as you know that I bought many clothes from Burberry and CK invited us to go for aa family who were out yesterday. The family leaves are the sales to employees and relatives of people working at Burberry, which is held twice a year to get rid of all clothes that have not been sold and all this with discounts of between 60 and 90 %.
For example, I buy a bag worth 21,000 yen by 3150 yen, a portfolio worth ¥ 16000 ¥ 3150, ¥ 19,950 a shirt for another shirt 3150 yen and 16000 yen worth ¥ 1000. Ayumi bought a coat that was worth ¥ 150,000 ¥ 30000 and was about to buy a leather jacket worth ¥ 300,000 ¥ 31000.
You see, the prices were spectacular, and although sales calls to family, you do not teach anything to say you're family of an employee, just go with it, so we have a whole warehouse full of clothes and people running with giant plastic bags full of clothes.
The only bad thing was that we could not reach the 18.45 to the place of rebates, discounts and finished at 19.30, so when we had almost no time to stop and try and had few clothes and sizes of everything . The other bad thing was we had to do two hours of queue to pay, so we left the place at 22.00.
With the time I was standing in line you can imagine the amount of people that were in place, but even so, the queue was quite fast and could only pay by credit card to make the payments to be much faster.
Apparently, this type of sale all brands make a couple of times a year. Do you know if this type of sale in Spain?
