Japanese fashion magazines: Non-no

Non-no is a Japanese magazine of fashion and trends published by Shueisha. Published since 1971 and has a monthly circulation of around 440,000 copies a month. It is one of the best fashion magazines positioned in the market and is aimed primarily at women aged between 16 and 23 years studying in high school, college and still living with their parents (curious demographic data). Although currently the target age reaches 25 years of age.
Non-standard is not a magazine with sections on fashion, cosmetics, hairstyles, interviews, diets and horoscopes (...). It often reflects Japanese fashion trends of the moment but it will be American or European art in 3 or 5 years. This ability to spot trends before they appear in every city is what makes this magazine so popular.
Overall is a publication much like any Western fashion magazine. On the web you can see some pages of the current issue and in this link you can download complete a back issue, that of July 2008. You will also find the latest copies for sale through Amazon .
