Confirmation in Tokyo

Today was a day rather curious to me, I went to the confirmation of a Spanish friend.
Turns out I have a Spanish friend who is living in Japan and a couple of years and wants to get married by the church in Spain. As we all know, to marry in the church must be baptized, received communion and confirmation. When my friend returned to Spain for a few weeks last year to reserve the church where he wanted to marry, they asked the certificates mentioned anteriormete, my friend never came to be confirmed, so I told him to marry in the church needed this certificate could be achieved by making a few courses at the church.
My friend found a church in Tokyo called " St. Ignatius Church , "where they have a large number of nuns, priests and priests from speaking, so in this church told her that if she attended a dozen classes of two hours each could be confirmed and therefore get the official certificate of confirmation that will allow a church wedding in Spain.
My friend did all classes and today was confirmation along with three other Spanish speakers. I was the godfather of my friend.
The confirmation ceremony lasted an hour or less, all entirely in Spanish. After the confirmation has been a baptism of a Japanese girl father and Colombian mother, this ceremony has also been completely in Spanish.
I never thought that Tokyo can be a baptism, communion, confirmation or church wedding entirely in Castilian and official certificates as if they had done in Spain.
