What surprises me every day since I came to Japan as the Japanese invent a lot of equipment to make life easier for citizens.
Here are some comfort as to the payment system.

Suica card : a card is mainly railway lines of JR East Japan. To avoid having to buy a ticket every time you train, you just reload your Suica card with all the money you want and then simply bring the card to the card reader and can enter without having to remove the portfolio ( style eski stations). Also for discounts if you always made the same journey. Mentioned so far this card is already in place in most countries, but had never seen before is that this same card can be bought in stores (especially in train stations) also simply bringing the card reader.

ICOCA Card: As the Suica card but to the west of the country.

Edy card: It serves both as a credit card and client. This card is accepted at many establishments in Japan, so many in establishments that pay you accept it as if credit card is involved, at this also if need be customer card such as in the case of video clubs and department stores, with this card it's any customer card for all other establishments, saving landfill and have the wallet card thousand sites.

Osaihu keitai : The payment system that have built mobiles. If the mobile is not very old, in Japan you can pay in many places approaching the mobile to the machine and then charging the phone company you use and this expense will be charged at the next receipt.

Well all this is irrelevant because Sony sells in Japan Sony Vaio Type S , incorporating reader Felica , which is neither more nor less than a reader to use all the payment methods outlined below to purchase online from home.
