A double citizenship by marrying a Japanese?
Desdeya long ago, I read the comments on this blog that people have a misconception of what can or can not benefit anyone to marry a Japanese, of course commenting on it from my divorce I have seen that there are even more people that I thought this a bit confused with this topic.
Many people believe that simply by marrying a Japanese is obtained Japanese citizenship, dual citizenship or permanent resident visa or something and this is not true.
Japanese nationality is very hard to come by in many cases one must live more than 10 years in Japan to get Japanese nationality by renouncing your nationality born. Japan is a country that does not allow dual nationality, which even people with Japanese and foreign parents can only have dual citizenship until age 20, but the 20 Japanese law requires them to choose a single nationality. There are rare cases of people who have dual nationality because they were born in a country that by being born in the national auque always considered then choose Japanese nationality (I think this is the case of Argentina. If you're born in Argentina Argentine considered all your life).
That said, it is clear that simply because you married a Japanese do not get Japanese nationality.
Nor is achieved permanent resident visa, which is also difficult to get because you have to reside in Japan between 5 and 10 years and worked at least 3 years in Japan before you can obtain the permanent resident visa, so that We will not marry this benefit.
By marrying a Japanese only have the benefit of being able to get a visa "Husband / a of Japanese" (If you ask) which allows you to work in any area of employment regardless of your profession, unlike for example a visa Engineer (Work Visa) which only allows you to work as an engineer and not as a waiter for example.
On the other hand, like all other visas even if you have the visa of "Spouse of Japanese" also have to go renew the visa every year or every three years, so if it comes to renew the visa and not married logically because you no longer have the option of getting this visa.
