National Review of engineers
The Japanese Association Japan Information Technology Engineers Examination Center-(JITEC) , has since 1970 performing a test called "National Review of engineers," which takes place twice a year led by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Those who successfully pass this examination are given the recognition of engineers.
The test is divided into two sessions, one afternoon and one in the morning, which together account for an examination of more than 5 hours com questions of 14 different categories such as network systems, database systems, security , etc. SYSTEMS auditor.
For several years the JITEC agreement signed with other countries in Asia where the same test is performed on the same day at the same time and the title is recognized in China, Korea, India, Malaysia, Thailand etc..
Using this test, the Japanese government considers you an engineer even without going to college, so you can ask the engineer visa with this title, but the test is only performed in Japan in Japanese.
The number of people who approved this test is really low (13%), since the test is extremely difficult ( you can see some examples here ).
