Kawaguchiko
Lake Kawaguchi-ko is the most touristic lake of the five lakes located next to Mount Fuji. Located in Hakone, Yamanashi Prefecture, located about 800 meters is a perfect place to spend a day relaxing and enjoying nature.
One of the main reasons that the Lake Kawaguchi is so popular is because it is very easy to access by train or bus and around the lake because there is mounted a large number of tourist attractions as lookouts, fishing areas, boat rentals, shows with monkeys and a large number of ryokan (traditional Japanese hotel) with onsen.
From Kawaguchiko station you can buy a bus pass two days at a price of 1000 yen, which lets you take all the buses you want around the lake.
I went to Kawaguchi-ko a couple of weeks and one day I had time to see even half of the lake (I guess this is why they do bus passes for two days) and views of Mount Fuji were great, the only bad thing is that Mount Fuji was not snow, so it did not look as nice as the pictures when the mountain is snow that say the snow the twelve months of the year, but it seems that a this is not true.
Undoubtedly Kawaguchiko is a site that I recommend to you to make your break for a weekend.
