Tokyo from 10 euros a day

These last few days I'm looking at the price of hotels and hostels for my friends, I carried myself as a surprise to see that the prices of hostels can be really cheap, so a trip to Tokyo can come pretty cheap, taking into account that the price of food in restaurants is rather lower than in Spain.

I have searched hotels in Ryanair Hotels, a website on which this very much in languages, including Spanish, thus making reservations at this site should not be any problem. The hotel prices in Tokyo are from 30 € per person / day.

The hostels I've looked at Ryanair Hostels, a site with a web interface very similar to the previous one, where I was surprised that prices start at 10 € day / person. That if, in these places are to choose the kind of hostel, as there are many who are in shared rooms or rooms with shared bath and so on. Anyway, I have seen many of these sites have dorms from 3 people, so if you go a group of friends is no problem, or even a lot of people would not mind sharing a room with another unknown person, because of step beams friends.

As you can see, the question How much does it cost for a typical stay at even par Tokyo trip? is very relative, and everything depends on what you like to each and the lifestyle you want to go.
I must say that I travel when I left for Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto, rent the hostel rooms on the same site, which would only be a couple of days at each site and end at the hostel just raisins hours of rest.

  1. 30 euros with bath and this is very good. And I suppose that if you know of 10 will also be choosing just as functional.

    Very good information!

    Thank you :)

  1. Ryanair is a great site to search for travel, accommodation and car hire. I was recently in Norway, I left the ticket for 25 euros, Madrid, Oslo, obviously prices go up as the foam when it's summer :) .
I was pleasantly surprised that there is so cheap accommodation in Tokyo, I have a pending visit, a friend returns to the capital of the rising sun to work, so that accommodation will not be a big problem. What was unaware of the issue price of meals.

    Very interesting article.

    A greeting

  1. Good page from the Ryanair, perfect for travel planning :) By the way Alain, there has been much noticed the rise of oil in daily life, in the last year? (Price of public transport, food, etc ...) I've noticed here is enough, everything has gone up. In fact, we are already several days of strikes and demonstrations of carriers, and with enough Follonica (in fact, has already been a picket died, that was my people).

    Greetings!

  1. The accommodation is for 10-12 euros in communes, which are half room hovel on a futon and a refrigerator, bathroom and shared showers and in many cases with problems of various kinds. It is said to cheap accommodation, but it is not, here in Spain there are also rooms at those prices.
That if the food in general, whether it comes from there, if I agree that it is cheaper.
I stayed in an apartment in Osaka around 20 euros per person and was perfect, and quite large with all amenities, there are also those in Tokyo for 20-odd hotels and are, but down from 20-odd euros in the plan is to go backpacking I repeat, that's also available here.
    Greetings!

  1. What this Alain?, How is everything?
I am Alfredo, you know that Madrid is going every two of three there to enjoy the night of Tokyo.
Well what I'm going to, if your friends are going to go, the last couple of times I went, I went to a hotel in Roppongi fairly cheap, and that is pretty good, the hotel is:
    http://www.hvf.jp/eng/roppongi_annex.php
There are more hotels in tokyo in the same chain and cheaper, this leaves room to double 12,000 yen if the night were two occupants, 36 euros per person I believe that in Roppongi is not anything wrong. Have breakfast, internet in all rooms, fridge and the beds are quite large.
Look to see if they are interested in this hotel, I will return to it in January, jejeje :)

    A greeting.

    Alfredo

  1. Palcraft: If you are noticing, in the news leaves a lot to this rising gasoline and food too much. Some restaurants have announced price increase and Mcdonalds to stop making hamburgers at 100 yen.

Ivan: No one was comparing the prices of these hostels with the Spanish. In communes that you say can be, but if the commune is 3 or 5 friends of yours then nothing happens.

    Alfredo: I look.

  1. Near the Atom Club had a few other hotel (no love hotel) so you know where you can start looking;)
The ryokan that I was being by Shibuya, had good prices and though it was something viejete, it was not bad. The double room cost us 12,000 yen overnight. The trouble is that the rooms have heating but no air conditioning and whether they will go in summer, you can die of heat.
    Here their prices http://www2.gol.com/users/ryokan-fukudaya/echarge.html
I found by searching flickr photos if you want an idea
http://www.flickr.com/search/?w=all&q福田屋= & m = text (of such a fung Mabel are the hotel)

The best hotel a few days old woman who was at the reception which was a horny, the little that I clarified to talk to her I was starting.

  1. The truth is that I do not expect anything for it were as cheap hotels! I think it will be at the large number of hotels that there will be in Tokyo this entails a lot of competition and good prices right?

  1. Andraeil: At these prices can go to the hotel that says Alfredo to Roppongi and you can come and go whenever you want.

  1. Alainkun: In the ryokan that I was too could come and go as you wanted. The door closes I believe that at 12:30 but the first day you get a code to open the gate to the hotel if you arrive later and let you take the key to the room with you.
We go out quite a few nights, some had already dawned and the door was open again with some of the workers at the reception and others opened the door using the code that gave us and sleep. The only thing that if you wanted to sleep until late the day before they had to say that in the morning still did not clean the room that is 9 am to 10 am.
So this is not a problem to go, whether it may have other ... If you want a more detailed description of the ryokan, and tell me what you command a good long-mail

  1. Alain, as compared to what I said, that's why I specified "says" widespread. Now seeing messages I have seen comparisons with Spain, and once again, it seems that the act of disinformation makes presence.
For 10 euros not find hotels in Japan, are really kind backpacker accommodation, and there are those across Europe, not just Spain. If you go to a hotel as such, it is considerably more expensive than here, what happens if it is true that the large order and cleanliness of Japan helps the communities are clean, if that.
But cheaper than Spain does not, do not miss the truth.
    Greetings

  1. The link to the search engine of hotels I am not going uu

I'm looking for accommodation in Japan these days because I am going there in the autumn. Well, more or less all the "hostels" low price already knew, but it is not the option that interests me because there is very little privacy.

For those who interests you pay a bit more to have comfort, privacy and their own bathroom, can be found in Tokyo hotels by 6000 the yen single room and double 8500 yen. It's the cheapest I've found so far.

  1. Regarding the comment from Ivan, I'm totally disagree, I've been in Tokyo in hotels for 2000 yen per person per night including breakfast and my own Banya.

Also in Kyoto, Osaka, Okinawa and Kagoshima. In Espanya in exchange for less than $ 30 do not have practically nothing (not to mention the quality ...).

  1. Pepe, and this is 3500 per person, not 2000, by 2000 with a bathroom so I doubt they exist. In addition, there are or not, are NOT hotels, that is clear. Do not call the hotel to what is not
And in Spain are the same thing if you go to cheap accommodation, hostels in Barcelona in fact there are 9 or 10 euros per night, without bath. The quality is a different thing, probably, by the culture in Japan are cleaner, but nothing of hotels, do not sell the bike.
Go to a hotel for 3 or 4 stars in Japan and you see one of Spain, then you tell me which is more expensive, does not distort the reality please, that there will be people interested in going to Japan and is not very nice fallacies put in the head of anyone.
    Greetings

  1. Ivan, I do not want to enter into polemics with you, but I tell you that it is possible, because I've been there. If you look at the website that I have really above you can find rooms at HOTEL by about 6000 and that now it is summer (high season).

Ivan left a comment on 17 June 2008 at 21:01
  1. Alain; ... that guy was not talking about you!! jaja, do not you take everything as a personal attack, quiet man who is going to give you something.

Pepe; to see, will not be out of season, like the nuance is important, I am speaking of the high season, low season, I doubt that is equally well, but good, neither can assure you. 6000 yen and 3000 are per person, and I repeat, not hotels, but already put some link here with the law regarding who is a hotel and not, I say this because it is, really
Anyway, it does not matter, is a technical nuance, the case is to stay well, cheap and clean, and 6000 yen per night per room of course there is, in fact, I've gone to all this. The cheapest I found as a hotel, and was modestito, but very cool, they were about 8000-9000 yen per night, but come on, are no hotel or in technical terms, by 2000 with no bathroom and lunch, or even hostels.

  1. [...] The photo above is the Hotel Villa Fontaine, located precisely in the area of Roppongi, where a double room costs 12,000 yen per night (U.S. $ 111) and has facilities such as massage chair, cable TV system OnDemand programming, air conditioning, bath, pajamas, towels, and even Internet access through an RJ-45, the entry standard network (LAN). It is a good option if you are looking for something centrally located and are accompanied and to pay U.S. $ 55 per night is not something very expensive, and amenities are incredible. (information taken from here). [...]
